The idea

Who doesn’t want a talking cat.

I wanted to build an interactive helper for my son as a Christmas gift, and Amazon’s Alexa was the obvious platform.

I built a protoboard on an ATtiny85 to control the LEDs in the eyes. That board talks to a Raspberry Pi through the GPIOs.

This project is when I started believing AIs were going to sit in daily life, not only on a screen.
