Ikea
Hack

The idea

Hack the bathroom light.

Is it possible to put an AI in any household object? We bought an IKEA bathroom lamp and hacked it into an Alexa-powered light.

It runs on a Raspberry Pi and Arduino combination, so you can control the light through capacitive touch.

Making talking objects out of everyday things was interesting enough that this led me to Gatto, my second Alexa-powered device.
